About the Event

THE DUBAI LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 

The Dubai Leadership Summit was initiated by the Commonwealth University and the London Graduate School consortium to serve as a forum to inspire leaders to exchange ideas and opinions about practical leadership challenges, and to enable leaders to benchmark good practices. The seminar is held every four times every year. The first summit was held in 2010. It has always been a huge success as scores of business leaders from Africa, Europe and Asia are usually in attendance. The programme consists of presentations by scholars and practitioners on major business and leadership themes. The key topics have been carefully selected after discussing with leaders and senior executives. Our purpose is to impact on decision makers by interacting with them.

When the board of the university initiated the summit, it was meant to encourage leaders like to come together to share perspectives with other professionals, business owners and senior executives and to gain from the coaching processes of the university. The calibre of people who attend the Dubai Leadership Summit include Ministers of Government, Ambassadors, Chief Justices of Countries, Speakers of Legislatures, Managing Directors and CEOs of Corporations, as well as Leading Entrepreneurs.

Convocation and Graduation

During each Leadership Summit, distance learning graduates of the Commonwealth University shall have the opportunity to formally graduate in a colourful ceremony. This will be a formal graduation/conferment of degrees to graduates who have completed study programs of the University.

Honorary Doctor of The University Degrees
The Commonwealth University of Business Arts & Technology is empowered by Article 2 of the Articles of Incorporation under the laws of the Republic of Panama to grant honorary degree awards to deserving candidates. Interested candidates must be:

• Persons of Integrity.
• Persons who have contributed in any way to the development of their community in a significant manner.
• Successful persons in business, politics or any field of human endeavour.
• Persons who are willing to support the philosophy of life-long learning and distance learning by contributing to the Endowment Fund of the Commonwealth University.

Summit Fee:
Reduced from US$5,500.00 to US$4,500.00. The Summit Fee covers summit materials, conference bags, tea, snacks, lunch for three days only. Boat Cruise and Tour of Dubai must be paid for as extra cost.

Jacobs Garden Hotel, Rolla Street, Bur, Dubai
(Affordable accommodation available at Rolla Residence Hotel, Bur, Dubai (2 minutes’ walk to Jacobs Garden Hotel – the venue of the summit). Accommodation is also available at Jacobs Garden Hotel.)
