Overview

This Programme and Seminar is an important knowledge sharing forum to identify and take a deep dive into the demands of leadership in the 21st Century and beyond. Digitisation, synthesising complexity, and the shift toward smart societies requires good decisions to be made by people who lead. To do this they must be have the skills to be forefront in adaptive resilient behaviour that enables trusted positive change. This Programme is about charting a path to a resilient future and the mastery of new and unique skills which are the vital, underpinning, and unifying requirements to live, work and make decisions in the global economy, now, during rapid change and into its future.

Target Audience

This Programme is designed for leaders, decision makers, executives, Board members, people in public office, future leaders, and socioeconomic influencers who are wanting to:

  • Understand new leadership ecosystems and their importance

Programme Objectives

A 21st Century skill is the development of a curious resilient learning culture. This is not a point in time Programme, but the beginning of a journey.

  1. Build agile, adaptive, respectful, and resilient leadership skills, attitude, thinking, well being and behaviour.
  2. Be able to embrace constant and rapid change.
  3. Identify critical legal and regulatory requirements in a digital economy.
  4. Understand compliant and assured data, information and intelligence processes and assets are a planning enabler.
  5. Know that planning must be a deliberate process and that no planning activity is ever wasted.
  6. Learn how to embrace and respond to differences to avoid groupthink.
  7. Develop a mature perspective towards security and trust leadership. Shift thinking from “trying to win” to “trying not to lose”.
  8. Develop and integrate security leadership to become the organisational glue that keeps the people, process and technology aligned to organisational goals, opportunities, security programmes and digital trust.
  9. Proactively integrate security wisdom and agile thought leadership across organisations and collaborative ecosystems.
  10. Understand new digital landscapes and their risks.
  11. Understand the foundational principles of Society 5.0 and its technologies such as blockchain and IoE.

Programme Methodology

To acknowledge individual participants’ different learning styles, the Programme engages and utilises a wide range of education methodology. Accordingly, the Programme Faculty and Facilitators will adopt a variety of visual and aural presentations [Pre-Recorded and Live] and encourage active participation to capitalise on your existing experience and expertise, plus the use of:

Dean Armstrong QC is a highly experienced practitioner specialising in Commercial Litigation; Cyber, Data & Technology law; Fraud Regulation and Investigations.

Dean is considered a leading authority in the UK on Cyber law, with a growing international reputation of pre-eminence in all areas of the subject. He is co-author of Cyber Security Law and Practice, an authoritative and thorough textbook in the fast- developing world of technology. Ian has deep experience with the threats facing small to medium and enterprise businesses. His research and experience have made him a sought-after preeminent cyber security consultant specialising in cyber threat intelligence and security leadership programmes for small, medium and enterprise organisations. In his spare time, he teaches cyber security and IT business courses for CompTIA as part of their Global Faculty and is the lead architect for Cyber Titan, Canada’s efforts to encourage the next generation of cyber professionals.

Lisa Forte is a speaker, trainer, entrepreneur, documentary personality and vlogger with her own show ReBooting. Lisa is the co-founder of Red Goat Cyber Security and is an expert in social engineering training, insider threat program development and helping crisis management teams rehearse and test their plans for a cyber-attack or breach. Red Goat are an exciting company who are changing the way we view social engineering attacks and are coming up with creative solutions for companies around the world.

Lisa has starred in several documentary films and is a regular on BBC news, radio and in UK national papers and passionately supports the “tech for good” philosophy. In 2020, Lisa also co-founded a “cyber for good” movement called Cyber Volunteers 19. The group provided pro bono help and advice to hospitals around Europe during the pandemic and has amassed almost 3000 volunteers.

Dr. Kohol Shadrach is a senior lecturer at the International Foundation Group. He is also the Director of Programmes at the London Graduate School. In this position, he provides guidance, advice, and facilitation in all aspects of organization development, from strategy formulation to change management. Kohol has authored two books viz. A SOCIAL SCIENCE STUDENT’S GUIDE TO SURVIVING YOUR PHD and JOB SATISFACTION AND TURNOVER INTENTIONS AMONG UNIVERSITY LECTURERS IN NIGERIA. His works have already been cited. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented papers at academic conferences like the British Academy of Management. He also chaired conference sessions for the Human Resource Management track and the Organisational Transformation, Change and Development track at the British Academy of Management in 2018.
